Greetings Earthlings

...and welcome to the web site of the Urban Spacemen, an electric, rock, blues, funk, jazzy, jam, progressive, spacey kind of band playing original music and hailing from south east England (Essex and Cambridgeshire).

Our sound could possibly be described as a euphoric blend of European progressive / festival rock and the more guitar oriented approach of the USA 'jam' bands. We have many diverse influences including the Grateful Dead, Phish, Gong, Man, the Allmans, Miles Davis and ye olde English progressive and classic rock. It's probably best if you have a listen and make up your own mind though.
